C2K was started as a missions project for First UMC Denton, Dallas UMC, and First UMC Richardson. The first missions trip was hosted on Tyler Street Church’s campus, and in 2003 moved across the street into Bennett Hall, which is now the current facility. Since the beginning, C2K’s vision has always been to bring individuals from all ages, walks of life, and denominations together, equip them, and send them out to do kingdom work in the city of Dallas.

The main operation of C2K is to provide hospitality to groups who are excited about missions, and serving the people of Dallas. Each stay will look a little different based on the needs of the group. Some need a place to stay, opportunities to serve, meals, fun activities, worship, or all of the above. The goal is to serve, so that our guest can better serve the community. Creating more than just another missions trip, but an experience that will impact each life involved.

Damian assumed the role as C2K Director in the summer of 2017. He has previously served a 2 year internship with C2K and Tyler Street Church's worship department. Being a native to Oak Cliff, he has a heart for the neighborhood and what C2K's ministry is accomplishing in Dallas. Having grown up with a passion for music, Damian went on to study Music education at UT Arlington in fall of 2009. He is currently pressing deeper into his calling into ministry by attending Christ for the Nations Institute. In addition he serves at Tyler Street church as the worship leader for their young adults gathering, The Branch.
